so i'm not really into text messaging but i try not to judge others... but i have to mention this: a co-worker who sits a desk away from me receives text messages ALL DAY LONG. the phone does this stupid beep sound to alert the recipient of a new message.
i think it's annoying. and inappropriate at work. am i too old for this?

i like texting. i feel it's less invasive than actually calling. a person can respond at will...
ok, i hear ya there. i guess i have a similar feeling about email. i suspect i might enjoy texting more if i had an iphone. :)
i like texting, but i've seen some coworkers go a little crazy too! it IS possible to turn the volume down. though i guess it's better than yapping on the phone...
and, the iphone makes texting very fun :)
