I guess the real question is whether it's imitation cheese or simply imitation cheddar... but for that matter how does one imitate cheddar?

Most of Kraft is "cheese product" and not cheese, so I'd say there's a pretty big market. They just need someone to design more deceptive packaging. I have never cheese be so proud to be fake.
the food industry has problems. i'll just leave it at that.
this product is certainly way too proud of its imitation status.
